The Cape May County Park and Zoo

Located one mile north of Cape May Court House, on Rte. 9 and Crest Haven Road, the 128 acre Cape May County Park & Zoo is open year 'round seven days a week. The Zoo is open from 10:00 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. (closing at 4:45 p.m. in the summer). The Park hours are 9:00 a.m. to Dusk. 
 

Considered one of the best full-system parks in the state, the Cape May County Park & Zoo offers plenty of recreational facilities such as playground areas, tennis and volleyball courts, baseball fields, nature, walking, jogging and bike trails and fresh water fishing.

While many visitors go to the Park & Zoo to find something to do, just as many go to just relax and enjoy a leisurely walk, an outdoor concert or sit and think among the natural surroundings. A visit to the Park & Zoo is pleasant alternative to the beaches. There are plenty of benches, shade trees, covered pavilions, picnic tables, open-pit barbecues and clean restrooms available for family outings.

 

Over 100 species of wildlife are housed in the beautiful setting of this well maintained zoo. Come see the playful otters, tigers, bobcats, reindeer, zebra, goats and bears.
